The project is a low maintenance dwelling that provides increased living and sleeping spaces to an existing dwelling on a very small site while still conforming to District Plan rules. The design has a modern semi-industrial feel with linea design and maximizes windows and light. The street front carparking is also maximized.
The design of the dwelling is focused on maximizing natural light and ventilation. The use of large windows throughout the house allows for plenty of natural light to enter the space, making it feel more open and spacious. The windows also provide views of the surrounding landscape, which helps to connect the interior of the house with the outdoors.
